Self Introduction

     My name is Jay. I'm 29 years old, and I'm from Viet Nam. Right now, I'm studying abroad at Soochow University, Taiwan. This is my second years as a sophomore in the English Department. Although there were some rough times in the first few weeks being in Taiwan, I somehow got used to living and studying here. I stayed at the dormitory and that was good to be a part of it. I have moved out recently, but I miss the time when I was there.
     Apart from studying, I had some part-time jobs at school too. And thanks to that, my whole week was almost occupied. I spent my free time mostly on reading books or listening to music. Sometimes, I went out with my roommates and classmates. We were hanging around the city of Taipei. Taipei is the big city and it is worth to explore. I had a chance to visit some famous places such as the National Palace Museum, World Trade Center 101 Tower, Taipei Zoo, and night markets. I plan to visit some more places in this new term. Generally, I like to be here, and I hope that everything will be going smoothly as the time to come.
      I had stayed in Taiwan nearly a year before I went home for summer vacation. I live at the South of Viet Nam where the weather on the dry season is very hot and humid (there is only a dry and wet season in the southern regions.)Therefore, I didn't do much on my vacation. Most of the time, I just stayed at home, relaxing, and spending time with my family. Occasionally, I hung out with my friends, having coffee together. My vacation was enjoyable and I was content. Two months of vacation was enough to help me back on my feet, and I'm ready for the new school term.
